We are a friendly riding school with experience in developing the skills of both the capable rider and the novice. Riders who simply ride to have fun and relax are just as important to us as those wishing to improve to compete.
Sue is a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach in complete Horsemanship and has trained combinations to BD Advanced
Medium, but also enjoys teaching children and adults, bringing them
on through the levels and seeing them progress and gain confidence and enjoyment.
We take pride in our high standard of teaching and the quality of our horses. This is reflected in the level of our repeat bookings.
We run our training sessions for experienced riders over both Saturday and Sunday.
We do not offer lead rein or beginner lessons.
We have many adults riding with us and we encourage those who wish to return to riding who would love to get back into the saddle.
Lovely educated, well schooled ponies and horses are provided for the lessons. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Having ridden as a child it was with some trepidation that two years ago I finally plucked up the courage
to start riding again (the gap was well over 30 years!). Tinsleys was recommended to me by various people
and from the very first phone contact with Sue I knew I had made the right choice. Yes, I was stiff after
the first few lessons, but my weekly hour at Tinsleys quickly became the highlight of my week. There is a
real sense of camaraderie amongst the riders, of whatever age and skill, and this is a real tribute to
the atmosphere of encouragement (and patience!) created by Neil and Sue
